Galveston, Texas (April 26-28, 2005)
Last week, over 100 indigent health care professionals attended the 4th Annual Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) Customer Advisory Conference at the Moody Hotel & Conference Center in Galveston, Texas. Each spring, IHS of Conroe, Texas, invites all its customers and a few special guests to an annual conference. The main objective is to have customers share their ideas for improving the indigent health care software developed by IHS.

This year, IHS demonstrated over 100 new software enhancements to attendees. IHS President Robert Baird said, “IHS was founded on the principle of listening to the needs of our customers and providing a product that evolves with the times and remains cutting edge. Our customers know what they need, and they have proven time and again that they have the best ideas for serving their constituents. They are on the front lines of indigent health care issues in Texas, and we value their opinions. Bringing everyone together to share ideas is just one of the ways that IHS has become the State’s leading provider of software solutions in only three years.”

In addition, IHS Director of Software Development Brad Sibley demonstrated two new products to attendees. “IHS has developed an integrated document scanning solution and customer photo capturing software. These products allow our customers to better manage all of the documents associated with indigent health care management and reduce fraud by incorporating a client’s photo into the database,” Sibley said.
