The Wharton County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to approve a two-year contract extension for the automation of the Wharton County Indigent Healthcare(IHC) office. IHC Director Brenda Tydlacka and County Treasurer Linda McCown told the court that the IHS solution had worked very well since its installation in 2000. They believe the new IHS Windows®-based product is exactly what Wharton County needs for the future. County Judge Lawrence Naiser signed contracts with IHS President, Robert Baird. The software will be installed to coincide with the start of the fiscal year in January 2003.
