Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) attended the Texas Department of Health’s Indigent Health Care Advisory Committee Meeting. IHS President Robert Baird said, “IHS has attended every TDH advisory committee meeting since January 2001. We want to stay informed of any policy changes and how those changes might affect the software and services we provide. This ensures that our clients will have the latest information and that our software will remain cutting edge. It is costly to send our software analysts to the quarterly meetings, but it is an investment that we will continue to make for our customers.” |

Robert Baird and Brad Sibley of Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) attended HIPAA continuing education classes. IHS senior software developer, Brad Sibley said, “IHS wants to be sure that the software that we provide our customers follows the new federal HIPAA guidelines. We want to make sure that we limit possible liability issues for our customers wherever possible. Attending these classes so that we are familiar with new federal law allows IHS to make sure that our software is in compliance.” |

Limestone County Commissioners approved a request by Indigent Health Care Director Peggy Franklin to authorize Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) of Conroe, Texas, to install its state-of-the-art Windows® based software beginning February 1, 2003. Mrs. Franklin selected IHS to replace the DOS software that Limestone County had been using for years, telling the court, “I am worried about the future of the software since the version I have is not Windows® based”. |

Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) of Conroe, Texas, learned that it had received a 100% net satisfaction ranking from it customers. Each year IHS contracts with marketing consulting firm Andell Inc. of Houston to create, distribute, receive, and tabulate the results of the 2002 Customer Survey. The surveys were mailed by Andell to all of IHS customers on September 16, 2002. 89% of IHS customers returned a completed survey to Andell. 100% of the respondents said that they would highly recommend IHS to other Texas Indigent Health Care offices for software services. Caldwell County Judge H.T. Wright signed contracts authorizing Indigent Healthcare Solutions (IHS) to install software for the Caldwell County Indigent Healthcare Department. Department Director Elsira Rodriguez said that she was impressed by the IHS software when she saw a demonstration at the Texas Indigent Healthcare Conference in October 2001. Ms. Rodriguez told Judge Wright that she visited with another IHS customer, Wharton County, and was convinced the IHS solution was right for Caldwell County based on Wharton County’s high recommendation. |
